Interview: Moore, Michael -- BOWLING FOR COLUMBINE

Michael Moore -- BOWLING FOR COLUMBINE , 2002

listenListen to the interview

Michael Moore began his career as a zaftig gadfly with ROGER AND ME, a trenchant look at the corporate world's callous view of the workforce that generates its profits. With BOWLING FOR COLUMBINE, Moore examines the gun culture in the United States and why we as a nation are more likely to pull out a revolver than, say, Canada, and he comes up with a surprising answer about our collective fear. When I spoke with Moore on October 11, 2002, the first question was about what he himself fears most. NB: Our chat was cut short by the arrival of the Blue Angels practicing their sonic booms in preparation for San Francisco's Fleet Week.
